2-Ingredient Cookie (Modified)

I just happened to go onto Facebook for some reason – maybe my after-so-many-weeks visit – and saw a friend had posted a comment about losing weight eating cookies. I just had to look to see what she was talking about. This led me to an oh-so-simple recipe that fit my want to find a no added sugar (other than the sugar in 70% bittersweet chocolate) recipe that could possibly substitute for our bars or at least get us to the point where I could come up with something on my own.

The only two necessary ingredients are the quick oats and the bananas. I added the other ingredients for fun and what awesome little snacks, treats, or breakfast bites I think they are going to be.

Oatmeal Banana Cookies

Ingredients
1-1/4 cup quick oats
3 bananas, ripe
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Directions
Mix ingredients together then bake for 15 minutes at 350°F.

Oh, and an added fun thing… I just LOVE mashing bananas. I have no idea why. It does make it super easy with the PChef masher, but still, it is just so much fun! And when the cookies came out of the oven, we were so excited to try them that two disappeared before I could take a photo.
